Making time to reconnect to your body, learn to love and nurture it, and move in healthy, sustainable ways is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

Physical wellbeing is important throughout the whole of our lives, but especially so as we move into, and beyond, the 40’s. As the body ages, we can lose flexibility and mobility, feel the impacts of changing hormones and metabolism, and experience significant changes in energy levels.

In our busy lives, it can be hard to make time to take care of wellbeing, and yet it is our physical and mental wellbeing that enables us to achieve everything else that is important.

Through Johanna’s Sustainable Movement and Fitness classes, you give yourself the gift of time, wellbeing and connection to mind and body.

The connection between body, mind and ground is simple but powerful. As you work with your body, and your breath, you can work towards releasing mental and physical tension. In developing this connection, you will notice improvements in your strength, flexibility, stamina, energy levels and fitness.

Classes are informal and relaxed.  We breath, we move, we listen to our bodies while we strengthen them. We work on our balance, joint mobility and our co-ordination. We do as much or as little as we feel in the moment and rest when we need.
