Yoga and movement teacher in Pembrokeshire

Johanna is a yoga and sustainable movement teacher based in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Passionate about movement and dance, she began practicing yoga in 1998 and gained her yoga teaching diploma in 2008 with Allie Hill of Yoga Haven Brighton.

Following the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, Johanna’s interest in the use of yoga as a tool for body awareness and developing mind-body connection grew. Her personal approach yoga and teaching was one that focused on understanding the biomechanics of the body, and working gently with ones own body, rather than pushing or striving to attain postures.

Johanna’s love of movement and fascination with the way the body moves has led to her practice and teaching changing over time, with a move away from traditional yoga and towards sustainable and natural movement that she now teaches. Read more about this transition here.

Johanna teaches group movement classes in Pembrokeshire, one to one private session and workshops in Cardiff. She has recently taken her teaching online with great success. Johanna’s timetable can be found here
